Frankie Bates Hardy Media Center

The Flat Rock Media Center was named after the first teacher and principal of the Flat Rock Elementary School, Frankie Bates Hardy. The school's library was dedicated in her honor on February 28, 2008.

Media Center Mission Statement:

The mission of the library media program is to support the curriculum by providing access to resources in varied formats: ensuring that students know how to locate, evaluate and use information thereby developing into lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
